Hello my English friends:
I`m back from the hospital! The surgery went well and as I thought they put some little stones and some dust out of my knee. As well some part of the bursa and they fixed a little rupture. I wonder that they have done this in addition. You never know what will happen during a surgery. But now I hope for a fast and good recovery. The doc told me to rest for 10-14 days. This is really hell! My body is used to run, train, to be active. All my mental thoughts are in rebellion and want me to move on. As well because of 40 cm fresh snow and blue sky with sunshine today. But I`ve to stay at home just moving from the sofa to be to desk and balcony to get some new snow to cool down my knee. As well I look for my nutrition to eat things to help the body with healing: ginger, vitamin c, gummi bears, L-Arginin powder and Arnica globuli.
When I think back to the race in Nepal where I ran 20-30 km per day with the bad knee I can`t imagine how I have done it. During the stage I was able to run and bend the knee and as soon as I got back to the finish I was not able to bend the knee anymore. I`m again in the same situation now with the only difference not to run 20-30km per day (only 200meters maybe).
My motto of the day is: step by step.
I had to mark the knee before the surgery! |
After the surgery! Glad they took the left knee! |

Alles Gute und eine schnelle, wohltuende Regeneration!
